The Camera That Opened the OM System to the World.
In 1978, Olympus made a decision that changed amateur photography: they took the brilliant engineering of the OM system, designed by the legendary Yoshihisa Maitani, and built an entry point that anyone could afford. The OM-10 brought aperture-priority automatic exposure, an LED lit viewfinder, and the full expressive range of Olympus OM-mount glass to an entirely new generation. It is compact in a way no modern SLR is, tactile in a way no mirrorless camera will ever be, and mechanically satisfying in every single movement. Finding two in matching Very Good grade is far less common than the production numbers suggest.
