These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact us at info@analogiska.com.
2. Definitions
"We", "Us", "Our" means Analogiska, the sole trader operating this store.
"You", "Your", "Customer" means any person who places an order through our website.
"Consumer" means a natural person acting mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
"Business Customer" means a person or entity acting in the course of trade, business, craft, or profession.
"Second-hand goods" means pre-owned cameras, lenses, accessories, and other used photographic equipment.
"New goods" means unused goods sold as new, including new photographic film and new accessories.
"Used / expired film" means film that is expired, previously opened, partially used, cold-stored, unknown-storage, or otherwise sold with specific age- or condition-related characteristics stated in the listing.
Where these Terms apply differently to Consumers and Business Customers, this is stated explicitly.
3. Products
3.1 Second-Hand Cameras and Equipment
We sell pre-owned photographic equipment including film cameras, lenses, flashes, light meters, bags, straps, and other accessories.
Each second-hand item is individually described and graded according to our Condition Grading System in Section 4. Unless expressly stated otherwise, product photographs for second-hand items show the actual item you will receive.
Because second-hand items are unique goods, the product listing, photographs, condition grade, stated functions, and any specifically disclosed deviations form part of the contract.
3.2 New Photographic Film and Accessories
We may sell new photographic film and accessories. These goods are described by brand, format, ISO, quantity, and other relevant specifications.
Expiry dates are stated where known and relevant.
3.3 Used / Expired Film
We may sell used, expired, cold-stored, unknown-storage, or otherwise non-fresh film. Such items are clearly identified in the product listing.
Any specific characteristics known to us — for example expired date, opened packaging, unknown storage history, partial use, or expected age-related variation — are described in the listing.
Because film performance can vary depending on age, storage, handling, camera, exposure, development, and scanning, image results cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated in the listing. This does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
3.4 Accessories and Included Items
Accessories may be sold separately or included with camera kits. Unless expressly stated, included accessories are provided in the condition described in the listing.
If a strap, cap, case, battery, manual, box, insert, or other accessory is not shown or listed as included, it is not included.
4. Condition Grading System
Our grading is a commercial description intended to help you assess second-hand items. Grades reflect overall cosmetic condition and, where stated, functional condition.
Mint (M): Minimal or no visible signs of use. Near-new cosmetic condition.
Excellent (E): Light signs of handling or use. Very clean overall condition.
Very Good (VG): Normal signs of use consistent with age. Minor wear, marks, or surface scratches.
Good (G): Clear signs of use, including visible wear, paint loss, brassing, or cosmetic marks. Item remains functional unless otherwise stated.
Fair (F): Heavy signs of use, noticeable wear, dents, or cosmetic damage. Functional status and known limitations are described in the listing.
For Parts / Repair (P): Item is non-functional, untested, partly functional, or sold for repair, spares, display, or restoration. Known defects and known missing functions are described in the listing. The item may also have additional faults consistent with its category and stated condition.
Optics note: Unless expressly stated otherwise, any material fungus, haze, separation, scratches, coating damage, or other significant optical issue known to us will be described in the listing. Minor dust consistent with age may be present in used optics and is not, by itself, treated as a defect.
If you want clarification before ordering, please contact us at info@analogiska.com
5. Pricing and VAT
5.1 Prices
All prices are shown in Swedish kronor (SEK). Shipping charges and any available delivery options are shown at checkout.
5.2 VAT for Second-Hand Goods
Eligible second-hand goods may be sold under the Swedish VAT margin scheme (vinstmarginalbeskattning / VMB).
Where VMB applies:
- VAT is included in the price but is not stated separately.
- A separate VAT amount cannot be specified on the receipt or invoice for those goods.
- Business customers generally cannot deduct input VAT on VMB goods.
5.3 VAT for New Goods
New goods are sold with Swedish VAT included at the applicable rate, unless otherwise stated.
5.4 Currency and Payment Provider Charges
All transactions are processed in SEK. If your card or payment account uses another currency, your provider may apply exchange rates or additional fees.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
6.1 Placing an Order
Orders are placed through our website. By completing checkout, you submit an offer to purchase the goods in your cart.
6.2 Order Confirmation
A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email.
If we cannot accept or fulfil your order, we will notify you and refund any payment received.
6.3 Availability and Listing Errors
Because second-hand items are usually unique and may also be offered elsewhere, stock errors can occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before dispatch where:
- the item is no longer available,
- the listing contained a material error,
- fraud is suspected, or
- we cannot reasonably verify delivery or payment details.
If an order is cancelled in such a case, any payment taken will be refunded in full.
6.4 Pre-Contractual Information
Before an order is placed, we provide the information required by applicable distance-selling law, including product characteristics, pricing, delivery arrangements, information on the right of withdrawal where applicable, and, where required by law, information about the withdrawal function available on our website and how it can be used.
7. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
Payment is normally captured in connection with order processing through Shopify and/or the payment provider shown at checkout.
We do not store full card details ourselves.
8. Shipping and Delivery
8.1 Shipping Area
We ship from Stockholm, Sweden.
We currently ship to: All EU Countries + Norway.
8.2 Dispatch Time
Unless otherwise stated in the listing:
- Second-hand equipment is normally dispatched within [2–3] business days after order confirmation.
- New film, special-order items, or mixed orders may require up to [3–5] business days or longer if stated in the listing.
Any significantly longer lead time will be stated in the product listing or communicated to you separately.
8.3 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only. Delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, strikes, peak seasons, technical issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.
8.4 Risk and Title
For Consumers, risk passes when the goods come into your physical possession, or the possession of a person identified by you to receive them.
Title to the goods passes when we have received full payment.
8.5 Incorrect Address or Uncollected Parcels
You are responsible for providing a correct name, address, phone number, and any required delivery information.
If a parcel is returned to us because:
- the address was incorrect or incomplete,
- the parcel was not collected in time, or
- delivery could not be completed for reasons attributable to you,
we may charge a fee of 250 SEK to cover return shipping and administration.
If you want the parcel sent again, a new shipping charge may apply.
Failure to collect a parcel does not by itself count as exercising the right of withdrawal.
9. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers Only)
This Section 9 applies only to Consumers. It does not apply to Business Customers.
9.1 Withdrawal Period
If you are a Consumer and buy through our website, you normally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person designated by you, receives the goods.
9.2 How to Exercise Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may use the withdrawal function available on our website, where provided under applicable law, or send us a clear statement before the 14-day period expires by email to info@analogiska.com
Please include:
- your name,
- order number,
- the item or items concerned, and
- a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
You may use the following wording, but it is not mandatory:
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods: [goods]. Ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date]."
9.3 Return of Goods
After notifying us of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you sent your notice.
Returns must be sent to:
Irakli Pkhakadze
Lidnersplan 8, 1402; 112 53; Stockholm; Sweden
Unless otherwise agreed, you bear the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the right of withdrawal.
We strongly recommend tracked and insured return shipping where appropriate.
9.4 Handling and Diminished Value
You may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.
If the value of the goods has been reduced because you handled them more than necessary for that purpose, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from your refund.
9.5 Refund After Withdrawal
If you validly withdraw, we will refund:
- the price you paid for the goods, and
- the least expensive standard delivery option offered at checkout for the outbound shipment.
We do not have to refund any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery option.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. However, we may wait until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
9.6 Statutory Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception under applicable law applies, including clearly personalised or custom-made goods.
Unless a statutory exception applies, the right of withdrawal also applies to second-hand goods and goods sold as For Parts / Repair.
10. Complaints and Legal Conformity (Consumers Only)
This Section 10 applies only to Consumers.
10.1 Mandatory Rights
Your rights under this Section are based on mandatory consumer protection law, including the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). These rights cannot be limited by these Terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Analogiska does not provide a separate commercial guarantee in addition to your statutory rights.
10.2 What Counts as Conformity
The goods must conform to the contract. In particular, they must match:
- the description in the listing,
- the photographs where relevant,
- the stated grade,
- the stated functions and included items, and
- any specific statements made before purchase.
For second-hand goods, conformity is assessed taking account of the nature of used goods, the item’s age, price, description, and specifically disclosed condition.
Normal wear and characteristics that are clearly described in the listing for a used item are not, by themselves, defects.
10.3 Complaint Period
You may complain about a lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within 3 years from delivery.
10.4 Presumption During the First 2 Years
If a defect appears within 2 years from delivery, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect.
10.5 Remedies
If the goods are defective under applicable law, you may be entitled to require that the defect is remedied or that a replacement item is provided.
However, because Analogiska mainly sells unique second-hand goods and does not operate a repair workshop, repair or replacement may in many cases be impossible or disproportionately costly.
Where repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, or otherwise not required by law, you may instead be entitled to:
- a price reduction, or
- cancellation of the purchase with a refund, provided the defect is not minor.
Where a complaint is valid, we will comply with the remedy required by applicable law and reimburse necessary return shipping costs where legally required.
10.6 How to Complain
Please contact us at info@analogiska.com as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Include:
- your order number,
- a description of the problem,
- when the problem appeared, and
- photos or video where relevant.
Complaints made within 2 months of discovering the issue are normally considered to have been made in time.
10.7 What Is Normally Not Covered
The following are normally not treated as defects unless mandatory law requires otherwise:
- normal wear consistent with age, use, and stated grade,
- conditions specifically disclosed in the listing,
- deterioration caused after delivery by misuse, impact, moisture, corrosion, battery leakage, improper storage, unauthorised repair, or modification,
- consumables with limited lifespan where no contrary statement was made,
- user-caused loading, exposure, development, scanning, or lab-related issues that do not arise from a defect in the goods sold.
10.8 Used / Expired Film
For used or expired film, specifically disclosed age-related or storage-related characteristics are part of the agreed product description.
This means that characteristics expressly disclosed in the listing — such as expired status, unknown storage, opened packaging, or expected color shift or contrast variation where stated — are assessed as described characteristics rather than defects.
However, your mandatory consumer rights still apply if the item does not match the listing or otherwise lacks legal conformity.
11. Business Customers
11.1 Scope
This Section 11 applies where you purchase in the course of business.
11.2 No Consumer Withdrawal Right
The statutory withdrawal right in Section 9 applies only to Consumers and does not apply to Business Customers.
11.3 Applicable Law
Purchases by Business Customers are governed by these Terms and, where applicable, the Swedish Sale of Goods Act (Köplagen).
11.4 Inspection and Notice
Business Customers must inspect goods promptly upon receipt.
Any transport damage, shortage, incorrect item, or visible defect must be notified without undue delay.
Any other defect that should reasonably have been discovered on inspection must also be notified without undue delay after discovery.
11.5 Used Goods and Limitation
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, second-hand goods sold to Business Customers are sold in the condition specifically described in the listing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Analogiska excludes liability for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, loss of opportunity, and consequential damage for Business Customers.
Analogiska’s total liability to a Business Customer is limited to the price paid for the specific item giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Consumers
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory rights that Consumers have under law.
12.2 General
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs issues, natural events, industrial action, war, government action, cyber incidents, or major technical outages.
12.3 Product Liability and Non-Excludable Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising under mandatory product liability law.
13. Personal Data
We process personal data in connection with orders, delivery, customer service, returns, and legal compliance.
Further information about how personal data is collected, used, stored, and shared is set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Contact Us First
If you are unhappy with a purchase, please contact us first at info@analogiska.com. We aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
14.2 ARN
If you are a Consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, you may be able to submit the dispute to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Sweden’s National Board for Consumer Disputes.
Website: arn.se
Postal address: Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden
14.3 Court and Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms prevents a Consumer from relying on mandatory rights or bringing a claim before a competent court.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
If you are a Consumer residing in another EU/EEA country, you also retain any mandatory protections granted by the law of your country of residence where such protections cannot be derogated from by agreement.
16. Miscellaneous
16.1 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version published on the website at the time your order is placed applies to that order.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
16.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the relevant product listing and order confirmation, form the agreement between you and Analogiska for the purchase.
16.4 Language
These Terms are provided in English.
If a Swedish version is also published and there is a conflict between versions, the Swedish version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
