The Final Chapter of the mju Story. All-Weather, All-Pocket.
By the time Olympus announced the μ[mju:]-III 80 in January 2004, the mju line had spent more than a decade defining what a pocket camera should be. This was among the very last film cameras to carry the name, and it shows: a weatherproof body, a 38–80mm zoom built with two aspherical elements, and an 11-point autofocus system that finds your subject even when it isn't in the center of the frame. Olympus added a camera-shake warning that nudges the shutter to a faster speed when your hands aren't steady, a spot meter for difficult light, and a flash with six modes, all in about 180 grams. Long overlooked in the shadow of the mju-II, the mju-III 80 is now being rediscovered by photographers who want the same carefree spirit with a zoom. Very Good condition, light signs of use. For the everyday shooter who wants a camera that can take the weather, or the collector completing the mju line.
