Pro DNA, Everyday Weight. Complete in Its Original Gold Box.
Introduced in January 2000, the Nikon F80, sold as the N80 in North America, distilled years of professional Nikon engineering into a light, approachable autofocus body. It was so well judged that Nikon built its D100 digital SLR on it, and Fujifilm used the same chassis for the FinePix S2 Pro and S3 Pro. The F80 brings five-area autofocus with a central cross-type sensor, 3D Matrix metering, shutter speeds to 1/4000, 2.5 frames per second, a built-in flash and Nikon's first on-demand viewfinder grid lines, a small touch that makes straight horizons effortless. Just as important today, it works with G-type, AF-S and VR Nikkor lenses as well as older AF glass. This example is complete in its original gold Nikon box. Very Good condition, light signs of use. For the photographer who wants a modern-feeling film SLR for their Nikon AF lenses, or the collector who appreciates a boxed example from the final era of film.
